Restaurant Inspections: Two C Grades in Myrtle Beach

Saturday, Oct. 21, 2011, Myrtle Beach – Spoiled meat, the presence of flies in multiple stages of development and a need for thorough cleaning led to two Myrtle Beach restaurants receiving C scores this week on their health and safety inspections.
Additionally, two more Myrtle Beach restaurants, one in Conway and one in Murrells Inlet received B scores for many violations, including "many roaches" and prepping shrimp in dirty dishes.

Each week we publish the current week's restaurant inspection health and safety scores for Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. We also publish the full reports from any inspection that results in lower than an A score.
When you see a 10 in the listing, that means the DHEC food inspector made a routine unannounced visit. A 15 indicates a follow-up visit where only items in violation during a previous routine visit are inspected. The inspectors use a checklist of 36 items.
