Two Bs in Adjacent Myrtle Beach Restaurants

Saturday, July 7, 2012, Myrtle Beach – A malfunctioning dish washing machine and a need for cleaning and repairs caused a Myrtle Beach steak house to earn this week's lowest health and safety inspection score of 79.
Kansas City Steakhouse and Saloon at 1901 Kings Highway had 11 violations noted in the unannounced inspection, including storing a cutting board on the floor and not having paper towels at the hand-washing sink.
A restaurant in the same building and with the same owner as Kansas City Steakhouse received this week's second-lowest score of 81. Kono Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar had 12 violations, including storing open bags of sugar on the floor.
