Hamburger Dripping Onto Food in Myrtle Beach Area Restaurant Inspections

Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, Myrtle Beach – Raw hamburger dripping onto ready-to-eat foods, food stored on the floor, missing hood filters, leaking water pipes, improper meat temperatures and a broken chest freezer contributed to two Grand Strand restaurants earning low Bs in health and safety inspections.
Sharky’s Bar and Grill in Surfside Beach had a total of 15 violations found by the inspector from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Fiesta Mexicana at the south end of Myrtle Beach (near the intersection of U.S. 17 and S.C. 544) had 10 violations.
