Moldy Ice Machine Gets Week's Lowest Restaurant Inspection

Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, Myrtle Beach – An excessively moldy ice machine was part of the reason a Murrells Inlet bar had a B score of 81 after a health and safety inspection.
A total of 22 violations were found at Uncle Tito’s. In noting the dirty ice machine, the inspector wrote, “Ice inside ice machine is not in sound condition due to excessive mold on the inside (mgr will use bagged ice, will clean sanitize inside ice machine.)”
