Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, Myrtle Beach - Here is the most thorough list of Myrtle Beach area Thanksgiving restaurant meal options throughout the Grand Strand, from Little River to Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, with delicious traditional turkey dinners and much more for hungry vacationers and locals.

 

Also included at the end of this article is a list of restaurants that will be closed on Thanksgiving.

 

North of Myrtle Beach

 

21 Main at North Beach, 719 North Beach Blvd., North Myrtle Beach, (843) 315-3000

When: 1-8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

What: A fixed-priced Thanksgiving meal with many appetizer and entree choices. Diners may selection one from each category. Appetizers include Crab Soup, Arugula Salad, Beef Carpaccio, Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail, Oyster Stew and Smoked Duck and Goat Cheese Risotto. Entree choices are Roast Turkey with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Cornbread Stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce; Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes; Roasted Leg of Lamb, Prime Rib and Pan-seared Flounder.

How much: $39 per person

 

Additionally: Add dessert for an extra $6. Those choices include Pumpking Pie a la mode, Apple Cobbler a la mode and Chocolate Torte Raspberry Melba.

When: Noon to 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

 

What: The regular menu will be available along with a Thanksgiving dinner consisting of turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie bread pudding.

 

How much: $22 adults; $9 children.

 

Additionally: Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are available with advance notice.

When: Noon to 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

 

What: A Thanksgiving Day meal will be served that includes turkey, Carolina ham, house-made mashed potatoes, gravy, herb stuffing, cranberry relish, glazed baby carrots, candied yams, green beans, pumpkin or Southern pecan pie, and coffee, tea or soft drink.

 

How much: $19 ages 13 and older; $10 ages 12 and younger.

 

Additionally: The regular menu will also be available.

When: Noon to 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

 

What: A special Thanksgiving dinner with roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy or sweet potato casserole, green beans, garden salad, cranberry relish, freshly baked bread and pumpkin pie. The regular menu is also available.

 

How much: $15.49 adults; $6 children; complimentary second helpings.

 

 

Dirty Dick’s Crab House, 1101 U.S. 17 N., North Myrtle Beach, (843) 663-3499

 

When: Dirty Dick's will be open on Thanksgiving morning only for customers to pick up Thanksgiving pre-orders.

 

What: Pre-orders through Christmas for holiday Cajun Fried Turkeys, Turduckens and Holiday Hams. Side Dishes are also available, which you can see by clicking here.

What: A Thanksgiving Meal includes turkey breast, honey glazed ham, prime rib au jus, crab encrusted grouper, sage and sausage stuffing and the choice of two side dishes: mashed redskin potatoes, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, glazed sweet potatoes.

 

How much: $20

 

Additionally: House salad, She Crab Soup, Shrimp Cocktail and Maryland-Style Crab Cakes and desserts will also be available for $3-$10.

When: Open starting at 11:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day

 

What: A buffet featuring Thanksgiving dishes of roast turkey, cornbread stuffing , honey baked Virginia ham, sweet potato soufflé, pies, macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes.

 

How much: $23 ages 13 and older; $11 ages 7-12; $5 ages 3-6; free ages 2 and younger.

 

Additionally: The buffet also offers dozens of non-traditional dishes, from seafood and roast leg of lamb to a salad bar and cheesecakes.

What: In addition to the regular menu, there will be a three-course fixed-price Thanksgiving dinner that includes a choice of first course (Ruth's Steak House Salad, Classic Caesar or Louisiana Seafood Gumbo); second course of Roasted Turkey, Cornbread Herb Stuffing, Cranberry Relish, house-made gravy, a choice of sides (Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Broccoli, Creamed Spinach, Sweet Potato Casserole; and a choice of dessert (Pecan Pie a la mode, Pumpkin Pie, Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce).

 

How much: $35 ages 13 and older; $15 ages 12 and younger.

 

Additionally: Ruth's Chris is also offering Sides to Go from Nov. 11-Dec. 24; each side dish is $30 and serves 10. Choices include Creamed Spinach, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli Au Gratin made with sharp Cheddar cheese and Sweet Potato Casserole with a pecan-brown sugar crust.

How much: For the Thanksgiving special, $22 for adults and $11 for children.
