Health Crisis Causes Conway Restaurant Sale

Critical health issues are causing Dan Malfroid to sell Burger Brothers Buffet & Steakhouse in Conway.

By Becky Billingsley

Wednesday, June 27, 2012, Conway - Due to critical health reasons, Burger Brothers Buffet & Steakhouse in Conway is for sale at a bargain price.

Dan and Tina Malfroid moved to the Grand Strand area in 2010 equipped with much restaurant experience in their native Michigan, where they owned two restaurants.

In 2011 they opened Burger Brothers on 4th Avenue in Conway, and then earlier this year they moved their business to 621 Church St. (U.S. 501) in Conway and expanded the menu to include a buffet. Now Burger Brothers Buffet & Steakhouse is for sale, because Dan's critical health problems are causing a move back to Michigan where he needs to receive treatment through the University of Michigan Health System.

The restaurant is listed with Randy Anderson for $50,000; he can be reached at (843) 446-3800. The 2,700 square-foot business has a monthly rent of $1,350.

The sale will convey all equipment, and much of it is new. Dan Malfroid says he will entertain any reasonable offer, and he can be reached at (843) 465-3580.
