Thursday, June 28, 2012, Grand Strand - A new restaurant is opening later this summer in Murrells Inlet, and one in Little River closed.

The new restaurant will be called Graham's Landing, and it is going into the former Cedar Hill Landing Restaurant & Oyster Roast at 5225 U.S. 17 Business S.

On June 27, Graham Plummer was at the restaurant, electric drill in hand, ready to start renovating the waterfront site. He and his father, Greg Plummer, are the owners.

"We'll serve steaks, seafood, burgers, wings," Graham Plummer said. "We'll be ready to open in six to eight weeks, after we get our liquor license."

Graham's Landing has a picturesque view of Murrells Inlet.

The restaurant that closed Hillbilly's Still 'n' Grill at 3389 S.C. 9 in Little River. In May 2009, Betsy Adams opened the restaurant and was known for home cooking, live music and karaoke.

On the Hillbilly's Facebook page, it states, "We are closed, just couldn't pay the high dollar rent."

A sign on the restaurant's door says, "Take notice that the owner of these premises, Waterway Plaza Associates, LLC, has recovered possession of these premises for the limited purpose of re-renting them, and has secured the contents of the premises to protect its landlord's lien. Any attempt to enter or otherwise disturb these premises without authorization is unlawful.

"The landlord will pursue criminal prosecution of any person, including any owner [or] employee [or] tenant, or any person hired by tenant, who enters upon these premises, or assists in any efforts to enter these premises.

"The tenant, 3 Twisted Sisters, Inc., dba Hillbilly's Still & Grill, is in default of their lease.

"Direct all inquiries to the landlord, to its agent's attention: Wheeler Real Estate Company: 1-866-203-4864."
