Monday, July 2, 2012, Little River - Two Little River restaurants have closed.

Nigel Cossey opened Papi's Texican Grill at 4310 McCorseley Ave. in Little River in 2009, and in June 2011 he sold it to Dan Amis.

Papi's has been closed for about a week, and a sign on the front door says, "We will be temporarily closed till further notice."

The phone still works, but the voice message mailbox is full.

Also closed is Jackie's Cafe 17 at 4390 Spa Dr. in Little River. It was open only for a few weeks, and the space is available for lease.
