Wednesday, July 25, 2012, Georgetown – After four and a half years in business, Morsels Market in Georgetown has been sold.
Owners Rhonda and Tim Morris opened Morsels at 619 Front St. to offer South Carolina certified and other gourmet market items, deli meats and cheeses, wines and beers and delectable sandwiches and salads. Today Rhonda Morris announced in e-mail the business has been sold to “a couple of gentlemen from Charlotte and Virginia with over 20 years of restaurant experience, who wanted to buy Morsels, including the building.”
The new owners names’ are Duff Ramsey and K.C. Terry. Terry, Morris said, has previously owned businesses called Fat City Deli and Krazy Fish.
Morris will still be at the restaurant for the next couple of weeks helping Ramsey and Terry convert the space to be a new restaurant called Krazy Fish Grill, which will have, according to Morris, “…a great menu, a full bar and a very kid friendly casual atmosphere. They will be keeping many of our menu standards, such as the Reuben and my tomato pies, and they will be adding my shrimp and grits as a daily special, and will be offering a wonderful assortment of tacos, mostly seafood.”
The number at Krazy Fish is (843) 527-3250.
