Chris Nance and Family Prominent in Murrells Inlet Restaurant Scene

Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, Murrells Inlet - In the wake of the news of Chris Nance's untimely death in Murrells Inlet, thoughts go to happier times in the local restaurant business.
The Nances are one of the Inlet's founding restaurant families who were in the business until just a few years ago. HERE is one of the last articles written about Cedar Hill Landing before it closed.

Two People Arrested in Murrells Inlet Homicide
Horry County, South Carolina (September 5, 2012///9:15am)
Two people have been arrested in connection with yesterday’s Homicide that took place in the Murrells Inlet
section of Horry County.
On September 4, 2012 at approximately 11:30am, Officers with the Horry County Police Department’s
Uniform Patrol Division responded to a house on Van Buren Drive in the Murrells Inlet section of Horry
County in reference to a suspicious death. Upon their arrival, they located a male victim outside deceased
from apparent stab wounds.
Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section responded to the scene and
an investigation was initiated. During the course of the investigation, Detectives identified two suspects.
The suspects are a family member of the victim and his roommate. As a result of the investigation,
Detectives did learn that both suspects participated in the Homicide and then disposed of the weapon in the
ocean. Detectives did arrest both suspects and transport them to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. They
are expected to be charged some time today.
Arrested:
Dustin Clifford Autry (24 YOA W/M) DOB: 01-27-88. He resides in the Murrells Inlet section of Horry
County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Joshua Cody Wilson (25 YOA W/M) DOB: 10-22-86. He resides in the Murrells Inlet section of Horry
County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
