Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, North Myrtle Beach – A North Myrtle Beach buffet that received a health and safety inspection score of 76 on Aug. 9 has closed.

Ocean Garden Buffet at 1400 S. Kings Highway in North Myrtle Beach has closed permanently. On Aug. 9, it received a C rating from the S.C. Dept. of Health and Environmental Control for numerous violations including buffet food holding at improper temperatures and the presence of roaches.

A second location of Ocean Garden Buffet at 901 U.S. 17 Business in Surfside Beach remains open, and there are no plans to close it according to restaurant management.
