One Restaurant Closed and One Rebuilding

By Becky Billingsley
Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, Myrtle Beach – A restaurant in Myrtle Beach that experienced a fire is rebuilding, and a Conway restaurant has closed.
Ho Wah’s Chinese Restaurant at 409 S. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach experienced a kitchen fire in July that destroyed much of the restaurant’s interior. Brad Jordan, president of Accord Architects & Engineers in Myrtle Beach, says his company, “…will provide all of the architecture and engineering services needed to get them back up and running. This includes architecture design, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design. We hope to have them back in business as soon as possible.”

Bo-Doo’s BBQ at Santino’s in Conway has closed.
The restaurant at 3221 S.C. 701 was formerly Santino’s Pizza. In the spring of 2012 owner Keven Doolittle changed the concept to include barbecue and still kept pizza on the menu.
Bo-Doo’s has been closed approximately 45 days.
