Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, Myrtle Beach – These dining deals aren’t creepy or kooky; Myrtle Beach area restaurateurs have brewed up diabolically delicious fun.
Annual Halloween Party
When: 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31
Where: Pawleys Island Tavern, 10635 Ocean Highway
What: Treats for children all day long, live music by the Highliners, Spooky Shot Specials for adults, costume contest with awards at midnight.

Bowling for a Cause
When: 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27
Where: Frank Entertainment at Inlet Square Mall, 10125 Frontage Rd., Murrells Inlet, (843) 651-9400, Ext. 3
What: Enjoy a bowling package when proceeds will benefit McLeod Children’s Hospital in Florence. The site also has a big arcade with tickets and prizes and a movie theater.
How much: For $14 per adult and $10 per child, you get 1 hour of bowling, shoes, 1 slice of pizza and sweet tea.

Voodoo Dinner Special
When: Oct. 21-31
Where: Crossroads at House of Blues, Barefoot Landing, 4640 U.S. 17 S., North Myrtle Beach
What: The Voodoo Dinner Special is a three-course meal with a Voodoo Shrimp appetizer, a choice of entrée – Half Rack of Ribs or Applewood Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf – each with two sides; and Bourbon Bread Pudding (which just won an award at Taste of the Town).

VooDoo Halloween Party
When: 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26

What: Voodoo Majik, games, live music from Death of Paris; hosted by WKZQ Killer Drink Specials with Bacardi Oakhart and Crystal Head Vodka; costume contest with a grand prize of two tickets to every HOB concert in 2013, plus $300 cash, second place gets $300 and third places gets $100 HOB Karma Cash.

Halloween on the MarshWalk
When: Children’s events are 5-7 p.m.; adult events are 7-10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31
Where: The MarshWalk, waterfront, Murrells Inlet
What: Children can go trick-or-treating at the restaurants from 5-6 p.m. and take part in a Children’s Costume Parade. Meet at the pirate statue at Drunken Jack’s at 6 p.m. for a children’s costume contest with first-, second- and third-place prizes for scariest, funniest and most creative costumes. For the adults, there will be drink and dinner specials and a 10 p.m. costume contest at Drunken Jack’s with $1,500 for first place, $750 for second place and $350 cash plus $175 in restaurant gift certificates for third and fourth places. The contestants have to visit each of the seven MarshWalk restaurants and collect a paper bracelet to be eligible for judging and prizes.

Celebrity Square of Terror
When: The adult party starts at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27 Nov. 3 (for children, the shops are having trick-or-treating from 4:30-6:30 p.m.)
Where: Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach, between 21st and 29th avenues North in Myrtle Beach
What: A huge costume party with prizes for first, second and third places, a deejay and individual parties and specials at several Broadway restaurants.
