Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, Myrtle Beach – Now that we know the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens are facing off on Feb. 3 for Super Bowl XLVII, let’s talk about the special football food and drinks planned at Myrtle Beach area restaurants.

The food specials start at 11 a.m. and continue until the Super Bowl ends: 30 wings for $20; one large specialty pizza, breadsticks and six wings for $30; or a choice of 12 wings, one large sub or a small pizza for $8.

Watch the game on five HDTVs in the roomy lounge where there will be food and beverage specials. The main dining room also has a large screen TV.

Bowl during the Super Bowl at Frank Entertainment’s CineBowl and Grill! Make it a party with lane reservations at $79 per lane for up to six people with unlimited bowling from 6:30-10 p.m. That price include shoes, one 16-inch house-made cheese pizza, a gooey pile of Melty Mound fries with boneless wings, one pitcher of soda and two hours of unlimited video game play.
The Super Bowl will be broadcast on a big screen, and from 5:30-6:30 p.m. there’s a pre-game tailgate party with free appetizers, $7 domestic pitchers, $2.50 domestic bottles and $10 domestic buckets. Dress up in your finest football garb, and you might win two movie tickets. There will also be free appetizers during halftime and a chance to win a “special prize” during Frank's Fumbles.

Get your pigskin on with an all-you-care-to-eat Pig Pickin’ at Louis’s. The chefs are cooking a whole pig in their wood-burning smoker and serving it for $12 per person with Spicy Slaw, Baked Beans and House-made Cornbread. The party starts at 5 p.m. and continues until the game clock runs out.
