Monday, November 18, 2013, Myrtle Beach – Many Myrtle Beach area restaurants are planning Thanksgiving meals with a variety of menus and prices.

 

Prices listed below do not include tax or gratuities. Please tip your servers generously – they have to be away from their families so your family can have a delicious holiday.

 

Aunny’s Country Kitchen

This is the stone soup approach to Thanksgiving when, for the fifth year, Charles and Aun Johnson of Aunny’s Country Kitchen are inviting anyone who wants to share in the fellowship of a big Thanksgiving dinner to visit their restaurant from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. People do not have to pay for the feast, but monetary and food donations are accepted. Volunteers to serve food are needed. Meal donations made ahead of time are much appreciated, and the wish list includes turkeys, hams, chicken, collards, green beans, sweet corn, par-boiled rice, sugar, self-rising flour, self-rising corn meal mix, canned milk, eggs, celery, bell peppers, onions, macaroni noodles, cheese, margarine, butter, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, pie shells, smoked neck bone, 3-compartment carryout containers, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, plates, tea, lemonade, soda, cakes, pies, chicken liver, chicken gizzards, turkey necks and cranberry sauce.
