K-Rae's Celebrating St. Patrick's Day Tonight
Wednesday, July 15, 2009, Murrells Inlet – It’s a wee bit late, or early, but St. Patty’s Day is being celebrated starting at 4 p.m. today at K-Rae’s Beach House in Murrells Inlet.
“You will feel like it’s St. Patty’s Day but with the heat instead of the cold and rain!” wrote K-Rae’s owner, Kerri Conlon, in an e-mail.
Two bands will perform – Band on the Rum and the New York Pipe and Drum Corps. – starting at 6 p.m. A Corned Beef and Cabbage supper will also be available in addition to the regular menu and the 4-7 p.m. early dining specials.

Kevin Selby is running the kitchen now, and he is also doing karaoke Thursday through Saturday nights. He is working on developing a new menu.
Brian “BNut” Grubner, formerly of Bovine’s and Thoroughbreds, is now bartending a few days a week at K-Rae’s. Kerri says BNut is “always a comedy show.”
K-Rae’s is at 4078 U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet, and the number is (843) 651-2869.
