Biggy'z Pleases Local Diner

By Mike Mabrey
Tuesday, July 3, 2012, Myrtle Beach - The food is good at the new Biggy'z Raceway Grill in Myrtle Beach, and the prices are fair.
My wife, Judy, and I tried the new Biggy'z Raceway Grill on Highway 15, at the corner of Park Drive (between 5th and 9th avenues north).
The new owner, Randy Cassel, has been there about three weeks, and he has a fairly good menu, plus daily specials. When we visited, the special was a Club Sub.
We got a Chicken Philly with cucumber salad and a drink for $7.95, and a Two Hot Dog Special with fries and a drink for $5. The total bill came to $13 plus a $2.50 tip.
The food was good, and there were several other people eating there - mostly local workers.
One thing we didn't like is that smoking is allowed. Next time we'll get our food to go.
The phone number at Biggy'z Raceway Grill is (843) 315-0122. It's open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
