Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, Myrtle Beach – Football fans are thrilled the season has started, and many of them love gathering at area restaurants where they can find food and drink bargains to enjoy between the cheering, from all-you-care to eat specials and FREE food to a chance to win Super Bowl tickets!
You don't even have to be a football fan to enjoy most of these specials, but it's a lot more fun if you get in the spirit of the game.
The 19th Hole Grill & Sports Lounge

If your team scores you score a FREE shot, if you’re wearing your team’s jersey. Buckets of domestic beers are $12, and there are shot specials while you watch the game via the NFL Ticket.
There may be a live band for the game, and if you get arrive between 4 and 8 p.m., Happy Hour prices include $5 Burgers or Bacon Cheese Fries; plus $2 domestic drafts, $7 domestic pitchers, $2.50 domestic bottles, $12 domestic buckets, $3 well drinks, $4.50 glasses of win, $3 Fireballs, and $4 Jagerbombs and Jagermeister shots.

For now the only games are the ones on regular cable, and during them domestic beers are $1.50 and wings are 50 cents apiece. Later in the season, when a football package is added, they plan to have an all-you-care-to-eat pizza and wing buffet.

Chef/proprietor Adam Kirby says, “I have a killer bar menu right now and five TVs – four of them are 42” flat screens.”
Bar menu prices are $10-$14 and include Fish and Chips, Fried Shrimp Martini, Asian Ribs, the Bistro Burger (mentioned in Southern Living magazine), Fish Tacos, Quick-Fried Calamari, Crab Nachos, Fried Oyster Salad and more.

During the games until 8 p.m., Happy Hour prices are in effect at the Bistro 90 bar. They serve more than 20 beers, pizzas and several small plate appetizers.

On all NFL days and for Saturday college games, there is a FREE Nacho Bar featuring sirloin tip chili during the game’s first half. Damon’s also has half-price appetizers and $3 margaritas just for football fans.

All day on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays (if there is a game on Thursdays), fans can watch the action on a dozen big screen HDTVs with the volume on the house sound system. As for refreshments, football specials include all-you-care-to-eat wings and chili for $10 and domestic buckets of beer for $12.
Dead Dog manager John Campbell says, “With a waterfront view, the game on and the specials running, we think we’ve got the best place to watch some pigskin.”

The party is on, on Sundays! Women in football jerseys get to drink Bud Light Draft for FREE, JagerBombs are $3, Bud Lights are $1 and 98-ounce Yeungling hoppers are $15. Wings are 50 cents each.

Discounted drinks are dispensed at Island Bar during football games, which can be viewed inside or out on the roomy deck. Deals include $12 domestic or $15 imported beer buckets, and $4 Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery

All day on Sundays and Mondays, Liberty has a $5 NFL Football Favorites Menu available in the bar and beer garden with Chili and Beer Cheese Dip, Garlic Parmesan Pretzel Bites, Quarter-Pound Beef Hot Dog with house-made chips, Pulled Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with chips, Mini Cheeseburger Sliders with chips and Buffalo Chicken Chips.
Football days also include drink specials: $2 vodkas, $2.50 pints, $9 pitchers, $12 margarita pitchers, $12 Long Island iced tea pitchers and $12 sangria pitchers.
Liberty also has football swag: During football season customers will receive a card, and for every $25 spent in the bar or beer garden, the card will be stamped. Cards with four stamps will be entered in drawings to win a variety of prizes, like a flat screen TV. The final prize is two Super Bowl tickets!

All day on Sundays and Mondays, the special football menu offers these platters for $15 each: 30 wings with celery and blue cheese, 15 chicken tenders with fries and honey mustard, 1 pound of chilled beer-boiled shrimp, or 18 Gulf oysters on the half shell with cocktail and Mignonette sauces and crackers.

New hi-def plasma televisions have been installed for the 2012-13 football season – even out on the porch where fans can feel the ocean breezes. There is a $5 football menu available during any NFL or college game, plus $6 pitchers, $1.50 drafts and $2 domestic bottles.
On Tuesday nights, a PlayStation Madden 13 tournament takes place on the big screen that costs $5 to enter, and the winner takes all.

This new gastropub provides all anyone could want in the way of easy-going comfort, beyond excellent food (that’s affordable), 15 craft draft beers and televisions all over the place – even in the booths.
Starting at 11 a.m. Saturdays and at noon on Sundays, football specials include a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar, a bucket of five domestic beers for $10 and a special brunch menu with prices from $2-$8 and choices like Huevos Rancheros with avocado and pico de gallo on toasted Indian flat bread, customized omelets, buttermilk pancakes, cheese grits, bacon and sausage.

Zulu has the NFL Sunday Ticket that includes Thursday and Monday games, and the family of ESPN networks that broadcasts most weekly regional college games. They can be watched on Zulu’s 14 televisions or the 100-inch projection screen with Surround Sound.
During the games there is a special football menu prices $5.50 to $15.50 with choices like Wings, Shrimp Skewers, Crab Cake, Lettuce Wraps, Philly Cheese Steak Hoagie and a sampler platter with Wings, Cheese Balls, Mini Hot Dogs and Nachos.
Drink specials include $2 domestics, $2.50 vodkas and $10 beer buckets.
