Saturday, October 31, 2009, North Myrtle Beach - Beef O'Brady's in Barefoot Commons has closed.

On Friday the owner, Daniel DiBlasi, said he was being evicted and that the property owner, Mark Lazarus, "would not work with him." Mark Lazarus owns many properties in the Grand Strand area and is also a former Horry County Council member.

Barefoot Commons opened in May 2008 on the site of an amusement park which Lazarus owned. Today Barefoot Commons is for sale for $13 million.
